What a year! Why 2016 was absolutely great.
Premier Events: 2016 Highlights
We only have one word to describe 2016… WOW! God has blessed this company beyond measure, and we’re so confident and excited that He will continue to do so. We worked with so many amazing couples this year. From family, to friends, to new people that we are so grateful we got to meet, this year was one for the books.
Ryan & Nikki’s wedding day was the most perfect way to kick-off our 2016 season. Their intimate group of friends & family (from many places all over the country) gathered at a private residence in Berthoud, Colorado. From the bride’s pink rose bouquet, to the abundance of cupcakes, the live band and the most stunning view of the mountains, we LOVED this day and this couple.
Matt & Tonya were such a joy to work with. There couldn’t be a more fitting last name for the two of them to now share… Truelove. The beautiful summer day at McC Ranch was filled with amazing views, sunflowers, and celebration. These two brought together such a fun group, who danced and laughed the night away. Such a joy!
Nic & Dana’s story is one that we’ll remember forever. When we started working together, Nic was here in Fort Collins and Dana was in her hometown in Canada. Because of the Visa process and many issues, we weren’t sure if Dana was going to make it here in time for their wedding. But God provided and she made it here with a week to spare! I think they would agree with me in saying it was all worth it. These two had spent more time apart than together in their years as a couple, and now they’re together forever. Their love for Christ and for each other gave us so much joy and drive to make their day perfect. And that it was! Their super fun group danced, danced, and danced some more in celebration. We love these two!!
Working with Phillip & Christen was such a pleasure for us. We had so much invested in their day, because they’re family. They picked a gorgeous spot on our family farm in Iliff, Colorado. Their sunset ceremony was so special, so intimate, and so family oriented. The sunflowers and baby’s breath brightened up the rustic feel of the day. Topped off by lots of dancing and ice cream sundaes, this country wedding was top notch, and it meant so much for us to be a part of it.
I’m getting so giddy reflecting and writing about all of these amazing people. It’s the clients that make our work so meaningful. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching two people who love each other commit to one another in front of all of their friends and family, the joy and love and celebration that carries the day, and knowing that we had a part in that. I (Dakota) said to Katie at one wedding, as the bride and groom prayed together, “I’m sorry if it’s weird that I keep crying at strangers’ weddings.” But that’s just it—they’re not strangers. I love how uniquely we get to know our clients. I love how they gain a special place in our hearts and remind me that I’m so in love with what I do. If this year is any indication of what the future holds, then we’re in for quite a journey. And we can’t wait!
